BBC: Nominate most important political
protest
BBC, on its web page, has initiated an interesting
project. It is seeking the opinion of its readers to nominate most important
political protest. I thought that this initiative should be supported,
that is why I am adding a post for it. Below, some info from the site. All the

This week the world mourned
the death of Rosa Parks, whose refusal to give up her seat on a bus for a white
passenger in Alabama in 1955 galvanised the American civil rights movement.
There have been many popular
protests over the years in which ordinary people have challenged governments and
changed the course of history. A selection can be viewed on the BBC News
player.
